A year in FRECA

Another year has flown by once again. However this time not in Formula 4.

This year was about a new challenge, something different from what has been done before. With the successes had in Formula 4 in both the German and Italian Championships, it was time to move on. Still satying with the Van Amersfoort Racing family, the new project, Formula Regional European Championship by Alpine.

Obviously, another whirlwind of a season, with collective pre-season testing and 10 rounds on various tracks around Europe including the iconic Monaco street track.

With driver Joshua Dufek, a driver moving on from withing the VAR team from F4 to FRECA we had a good year. Being a rookie in a competitive field it is always challenging, however Joshua drove incredibly well in order to nearly clinch the Rookie title and 9^th overall, which is a tremendous achievement!

All in all, another great year with VAR, with a good car, good team and colleagues, and a good driver. Looking forward to what 2023 has in store for us!
